Gamers waiting for Rainbow Six: Siege open beta were excited yesterday because the beta was supposed to go live as per schedule however it ran into problems at the last minute which forced Ubisoft to not go ahead. It wasn’t that big a problem that would have delayed the open beta for a considerable amount of time and the problem has now been fixed. Ubisoft has confirmed that the Rainbow Six: Siege beta has finally gone live.

“We want to thank everyone who is participating in this beta,” Ubisoft says, adding that it’s looking forward to feedback from players to further fine tune the title before its public release next month.

It apologizes to those who have not been able to play as yet and appreciates their patience and understanding. “We are proud of what Rainbow Six Siege has to offer and we wish you the greatest experience possible.”

The open beta launch was postponed at the eleventh hour yesterday due to issues with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms. Ubisoft decided to postpone the open beta and keep the game under closed beta status for the time being.

Fortunately for fans it didn’t take too long to fix all of those issues, Ubisoft did say that getting things back on track was its top priority, and it has most certainly followed through.

What could be better than having the open beta come out during the holiday weekend, meanwhile Ubisoft gets enough feedback to see if any tweaks need to be made to ensure that the public release goes off without a hitch on December 1st.
