LG Sold Nearly Half A Million V10 Units In The U.S. 45 Days After Launch

LG-V10-11

The LG V10 is unlike any device that the company has released in recent years and it does appear to have made consumers interested in it. LG has revealed that its new phablet proved to be a hit among the younger generation in the United States, it was able to sell nearly half a million units of this handset in only the first 45 days after it was launched in the country.

LG points out that these figures represent actual sales to end users and not just shipments to retailers, it has actually sold 450,000 units of the V10, in 45 days after launch. While the number doesn’t break any records set by market favorites like the iPhone, it does show that many consumers are open to embracing a dual-screen phablet.

The company mentions that majority of the customers who picked up this phablet in the United States were between 25 to 35 years of age, adding that one of the main reasons why consumers opted for this device is its ability to easily capture and share video content.

There are already whispers on the street concerning the next-generation LG V10 handset, it’s believed that the smartphone might debut LG’s new Nuclun processor, since it’s expected to arrive in the second half of next year and that’s when the new Nuclun processor is said to be ready for deployment in consumer devices.
