LG V10 owners on T-Mobile have had to wait for a considerable amount of time to get on the latest and greatest iteration of Android. The wait is finally over for them. The T-Mobile LG V10 Android 7.0 Nougat update has been released. The handset launched with Android 5.1.1 and later received an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It’s finally getting the upgrade to the most recent iteration of Google’s […]
Google released the Android 7.0 Nougat update late last year and it still hasn’t arrived on quite a few compatible handsets. That’s what fragmentation gets you on the Android platform. Nevertheless, LG V10 owners have something to look forward to now with regards to a software update. LG has finally started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the LG V10.
The thing we’ve noticed with smartphone OEMs is that the typically stop issuing major updates to their older phones, which we guess makes sense as they’d rather concentrate their resources on their newer devices. However if you’re still holding onto the LG G4 or the LG V10, you can rest assured that the Nougat update will be headed your way.
LG has tried to set itself apart in the high-end smartphone market by launching the V series. The V10 was the first handset in this series to feature a secondary ticker display above the main screen. LG has stuck to this implementation with the V20 as well but if a new rumor is to be believed, the company is going to go in a different direction by replacing the secondary […]
LG’s latest flagship smartphone for 2016 was unveiled a couple of days ago at an event in San Franciso. The LG V20 builds up very nicely from its predecessor which itself was a rather unique device that came out last year. LG will now focus its energies towards selling this handset but it’s still “undecided” about whether or not it wants to release the V20 in Europe.
India happens to be a very lucrative market for smartphone manufacturers so it’s often surprising if an OEM decides to skip this market for a high-end device. LG did just that last year when it launched the V10 but the company’s fans in the country will be excited to find out that LG V20 launch has been confirmed. The handset itself will be formally unveiled in the coming week in […]
LG’s mobile business didn’t get the boost that it might have been hoping for with this year’s flagship handset and the company is now looking forward to the successor of its V10 to turn things around. LG has already confirmed that it’s going to unveil the V20 next month but it’s yet to show the device. Several purported renders of the LG V20 have been leaked online today and show […]
LG’s flagship smartphone for 2016 was good but it wasn’t good enough to stand up to competition from the likes of the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. It just didn’t perform as well as the company might have hoped it would. LG’s recent quarterly earnings show that the G5 has contributed more red than green to the balance sheet which is why LG is now counting on the […]
Recent reports suggest that the LG G5 hasn’t performed as well as the company would have hoped which means that it needs to pin its hopes on another flagship device. LG came out with the V10 last year, it was quite different from other flagship smartphones and was well received, and perhaps the successor could do even better. A new report out of Korea suggests that LG is going to […]
When it comes to smartphones, there are phones designed for businesses, governments, and regular folks. You might think that maybe it’s just the software and features, and you would be right, but if there is one major difference is that security features on phones designed for enterprise and government use tend to be stricter.
LG V10 owners on AT&T will be delighted to hear that the carrier has finally released Marshmallow for this handset. It was only a few days ago that T-Mobile released Marshmallow for LG V10 users on its network so AT&T users will appreciate that the company didn’t take too long to come out with this update for its users. AT&T is rolling out the update right now over-the-air.
Last week, we did bring you word that T-Mobile’s LG V10 smartphone would be on the receiving end of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update some time later this week – and it seems that the folks over at T-Mobile have kept to their words, straight and true like an arrow, which would certainly make owners of the LG V10 happy as they get to indulge in a similar operating system […]
Folks who own the LG V10 on T-Mobile will be interested to find out that they will soon receive the much-awaited Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on their handset. The update has already been released for the international version of this device and Verizon sent it out to users just last week. It has been confirmed that T-Mobile is going to release the update for the V10 next week.
LG V10 owners have a new software update to look forward to today and it’s one that many of them might have been waiting for a very long time. Verizon has updated its support page for the handset to confirm that it’s going to roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the LG V10 today. The Marshmallow update for this handset brings several new features and improvements.
Looking to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow for your LG V10? Last we heard back in January, it was indicated that T-Mobile has plans to update the handset, although when exactly will the update take place is anyone’s guess. However there is a good chance that the update could be rolled out soon.
Fingerprint security on smartphones these days are pretty common, which is why it wasn’t a surprise to see the LG V10 include that feature in their phone. However it seems that recently, it has been discovered that the LG V10 might have a security vulnerability for its fingerprint scanner, in which non-authorized users will be able to add their fingerprints to the list.

After all, having a sense of humor is always an important facet of life, and with […]
The LG V10 was launched last year and seemed to represent a new direction in terms of design and features that LG could be exploring. That being said, the handset was not launched with the latest version of Android which begs the question, will it be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow at some point in time?
The LG V10 is unlike any device that the company has released in recent years and it does appear to have made consumers interested in it. LG has revealed that its new phablet proved to be a hit among the younger generation in the United States, it was able to sell nearly half a million units of this handset in only the first 45 days after it was launched in […]
If a new report is to be believed then LG has started developing its second Nuclun processor, the aim as always being to reduce the company’s reliance on mobile processors from the likes of Qualcomm. It’s not known for sure right now if the processor will make its way to LG’s 2016 flagship handset but word on the street is that the improved Nuclun may first see the light of […]
