Mike Ybarra, Director Of Program Management For Xbox took to the official blog today to detail some of the new improvements and features that are coming with the Xbox One February 2016 update. The new features are being released to Preview members today, the general public gets this update next month, which brings improved social features and much more.

This update will allow gamers on Xbox One to see who’s in a Party before joining it, it’s actually one of the most requested features by the community. When a profile of a friend that’s in a Party is viewed gamers will now also be able to see who else they’re playing with. Clicking on the Chat button that will appear immediately below will allow them to view all members in a Party.

Gamerscore Leaderboard also gets some improvements in next month’s update, allowing gamers to compare their total Gamerscore with friends while also putting the spotlight on whoever has the biggest Gamerscore increase over a 30-day period.

It will be possible to re-arrange Pins on Home and access them offline after the update arrives, Ybarra says that many in the community have asked for this feature as well, which is why it’s coming out next month, aside from the ability to join Twitch broadcasts, the ability to hide content like trials, betas, apps and games from the ‘ready-to-install’ list as well as improvements to the Suggested Friends feature.

All of these features are included in the update that has been rolled out to Xbox One Preview members, all Xbox One owners are going to receive this update and all of the features that are part and parcel of it in February 2016.
