Last year HTC announced the HTC One X9, but unfortunately at the time of announcement, the handset was an exclusive to the Chinese market. A bit of a pity considering that the specs of the phone were pretty decent, a good high-end handset that we’re sure many would have loved to own, especially if you’re fan of HTC.

The good news is that you won’t have to grey import it anymore. HTC has recently announced that they will be expanding the availability of the HTC One X9 to North Asia and EMEA regions. This means that if you are living in said regions, you should be able to get your hands on the handset towards the end of February. No word on pricing but we expect that this should vary depending on where you are.

What’s unfortunate is that HTC did not mention if the phone will be arriving stateside, so until then we guess our readers in the US will still not be able to get it. Perhaps later HTC might change their minds, but with the HTC One M10 rumored to be announced in the next couple of months, perhaps you might want to wait for that.

The HTC One X9 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and will sport a metal build. Under the hood, a MediaTek X10 octa-core processor can be found with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. It is priced at 2,399 RMB which is about $370 converted.
