ps-plus-free-weekend

If you happen to own a PlayStation 4 and don’t have a subscription to PlayStation Plus, which is required if you want to play games online, then it’s certainly going to be a very good weekend for you. Sony is back with another free multiplayer weekend. All PlayStation 4 owners can play their favorite games online this weekend for absolutely no charge.

This latest free multiplayer weekend arrives in time for the launch of Street Fighter 5, the latest iteration in the legendary fighting franchise which happens to be a console exclusive to PlayStation 4.

PlayStation 4 owneres will be able to access the online multiplayer modes in any PS4 games starting this Friday even if they don’t have a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Access to free online multiplayer on PlayStation 4 starts Friday, February 19th, at 12:01 AM Pacific and will be available until Sunday, February 21st, at 11:59 PM Pacific. During this free weekend PS4 owners can hop on PSN and enjoy the multiplayer mode of their favorite game.

This is a great way for Sony to show off the capabilities of PlayStation Plus as well. The subscription service allows PS4 owners to play games online and even gives them a handful of titles for free each month as an added incentive. Sony will certainly be hoping that the free weekend convinces some folks to start paying up for PS Plus.
