Inbox By Gmail Now Lets Users Expand The Compose Window

inbox_expanded_composeLooking for a way to manage your emails? If you are, Google’s Inbox by Gmail is one way to go about it. The advantages are that it is a smart inbox meaning that it can tell when an email is related to a purchase, an upcoming trip, a social email, and etc. This is versus older and manual methods where you’d have to sort your emails yourself.

Now if there is one area we felt like we had to nitpick, it would be its compose window which pops up in the lower right hand corner of the screen. While it isn’t exactly small, we reckon it could be bigger as it would be handy for those who might want to compose longer or richer emails with images and so on.

The good news is that Google thinks an expanded window would be a good idea as well, and has since announced that Inbox by Gmail will now let users expand the compose window to the size you see above. This isn’t exactly full screen, but it is noticeably bigger than what is being offered right now.

The feature has always been available in Gmail, but it has finally made its way onto Inbox. According to Google, “Just like in Gmail, you can now expand the compose window in Inbox. Perfect for planning an elaborate surprise.” The feature should be live so fire up Inbox by Gmail if you want to check it out.
