With such a requirement in place, officials do believe that it is a move that would make it more difficult for terrorists to actually communicate with one another before the dastardly act. It sounds good and proper in theory, but there really isn’t that much of an added layer of protection or security when it comes to this bill proposal for the simple fact that anyone who might want to commit a crime can easily purchase a used handset from the secondary market and do the same dastardly acts with it.
Jackie also shared, “This bill would close one of the most significant gaps in our ability to track and prevent acts of terror, drug trafficking, and modern-day slavery.” What do you think of the idea?
