More Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector’s Editions Will Be Made

ffxv collectorsWhen Square Enix launched the Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector’s Edition, it sold out in a matter of minutes. Given that there were only 30,000 units made and the number of Final Fantasy fans in the world, this didn’t really come as a surprise. Unsurprisingly many were disappointed that they could not get their hands on it.

Square Enix then revealed that they were considering making more units and the good news is that they have officially decided to. However the catch is that there is a chance that by the time they do start selling these units, it might not make it in time for the game’s release. However if you don’t mind waiting a bit then we guess this shouldn’t be an issue.

In a series of tweets, Square Enix wrote, “Good news! We will be producing more #FFXV Ultimate Collector’s Editions which will be available worldwide! Due to factors outside of our control though – there is a chance these new UCEs may not be ready by Sep 30 (the #FFXV release date). We’ll do our best to make sure the new UCEs are not delayed though & we’ll let you know how you can order one from the 2nd batch soon.”

For those unfamiliar with the contents of the Ultimate Collector’s Edition, it will come with a copy of the game, a hardcover artbook, the Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV anime and soundtrack, a 26cm Noctis figure, along with bonus in-game content like outfits, weapons, and recolor options. There will also be in-game item packs like a travel pack, camera kit, Angler set, and Gourmand set. Last we checked the Ultimate Collector’s Edition sold for $270 and there’s a good chance the reissue will be priced the same.
