powershot-sx620hs-black-3q-hiResCompact cameras are great for when on holiday since they can easily slip into your pocket. This is versus larger mirrorless or DSLR cameras in which you might require a separate bag to keep the camera, its lenses, and other accessories. Now if you’re after a compact camera, Canon has recently taken the wraps off the PowerShot SX620 HS compact.

This is a superzoom compact meaning that if being able to zoom in on subjects far away is your thing, or maybe you just like the flexibility of a zoom lens, then this camera might be for you. It features a 25x Optical Zoom lens (a 25-625mm equivalent) and also Intelligent Image Stabilizer technology to help with shake-free photos even when zoomed.

The camera will feature a 20.2MP CMOS sensor and will be powered by Canon’s DIGIC 4+ image processor. It can capture Full HD video and will come with a 3-inch LCD display. There is also built-in WiFi and NFC connectivity to allow users to share and transfer images wirelessly to computers or other compatible devices.

It will come in several different color options and will be priced at $280. It will be available later this month for those who are looking to get their hands on it.
