Fallout 4 Will Be Released For The HTC Vive In 2017

fallout-4-dlc-release-1Fallout 4 is the successor to the Fallout series that many gamers have been waiting for, and so far many gamers are pretty chuffed with the game and what it has to offer. Now if you’ve more or less completed the game and have run out of things to do, how about enjoying Fallout 4 in virtual reality?

Announced during E3 2016, Bethesda’s Pete Hines revealed that the game will be released on the HTC Vive in 2017. Note that this isn’t a demo of the game, as in just to show off virtual reality  technology. This is an actual full-fledged release of Fallout 4 for the HTC Vive meaning that you’ll get to experience the game in its entirety all over again in a virtual reality setting.

For those who are attending E3, Bethesda also revealed that playable demos of Fallout 4 and DOOM in VR would be available, but unfortunately the company did not state whether or not DOOM will also be released in VR, although we can only imagine how much more fun and scary it would be if it did.

Also there was no mention of Fallout 4 launching on the Oculus Rift or the Sony PlayStation VR, so for now we can only assume that it will be exclusive to the HTC Vive until we are told otherwise.
