Fallout 4 fans have been waiting for the virtual reality experience that’s going to take them back to the wasteland later this year. If they’ve yet to purchase a VR headset to play the title, then HTC is giving them an incentive to opt for its Vive VR headset. All new HTC Vive customers will now receive a free Fallout 4 VR pre-order code.

Fans of the immensely popular Fallout 4 franchise have been looking forward to this iteration. It’s not a spinoff of the original title. Fallout 4 VR is a complete VR adaptation of the Fallout 4 title. It will take players back to the wasteland in glorious virtual reality.

HTC today announced the launch of a new Vive bundle which comes with a free copy of the as yet unreleased Fallout 4 VR title, the game is a $59.99 value. Customers who purchase a new Vive now will get a redemption code for the VR iteration of Bethesda’s hit title for free.

All is now lost for those who already own the HTC Vive VR headset. If they purchase Fallout 4 VR separately, HTC is going to give them a free three month subscription to its Viveport gaming service. A subscription to this service normally costs $6.99 per month.

Fallout 4 VR is exclusive to the HTC Vive VR for a limited time and will land on other headsets in the future.
