New information has been revealed by 343 Industries about the next free update for Halo 5. This update is going to bring the anticipated Warzone Firefight mode, and it’s going to add three new maps to the game. Some other content is going to be included in this update as well. Some details are yet to be revealed but we can expect to hear more about the next free Halo 5 update in the coming weeks.

Warzone Firefight is a new multiplayer mode for Halo 5 and it’s going to offer the biggest Halo cooperative experience ever in the history of this franchise. Up to 8 players will work together to compete in five rounds of increasingly difficult, dynamic objects against a timer to clinch the victory.

Score Attack will also be added to the Halo 5 campaign. It will enable players to earn points and win up to 50 medals for eliminating enemies with style.

Three new multiplayer maps will be included in the update as well and only one has been detailed so far. It’s called Prospect. Players are immediately dropped into a mining facility in this map and they have to attack the facility’s defenders.

A new Forge map editing canvas is part of the update too, aside from a rare Temple Banshee vehicle, new REQ packs, weapons, and armor. 343 Industries will provide more information about this free update prior to its release later this month.
