Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Rumored To Sport Redesigned S Pen

Samsung-galaxy-note-4-25One of the main features of the Galaxy Note series from Samsung that sets it apart from its Galaxy S lineup is its support for the S Pen, which for those unfamiliar is a stylus bundled with the handset that offers up added features and functionality when used together with the handset. It is more than just a pointing tool when paired with the Galaxy Note.

That being said, we haven’t really heard much about the S Pen so far. We know that Samsung has a new Galaxy Note in the works, but apart from its rumored specs, we haven’t really heard if there would be anything new added to the S Pen, leaving us to assume that Samsung will be keeping the device the same.

However according to new reports, it seems that there will be changes made to the S Pen. For starters it will have improved Bluetooth LE connectivity. This is supposed to enhance its proximity accuracy and in turn let users use the stylus for longer periods of time. Air Command is said to be getting an update as well.

Last but not least, the design will also be different and that it is possible that we could be getting a revised clickable button. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but with the rumors suggesting an early August launch, we guess we won’t have to wait too long to find out the truth.
