The HP Elite X3 is a Windows 10 Mobile-powered productivity powerhouse that the company unveiled back in February this year at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. It has still not been released in the United States though it’s likely that the release could take place in the coming months. The price for this handset was briefly available on HP’s official website before it was taken down, it appears that the HP Elite x3 is going to cost a whopping $800 in the United States.

The HP Elite x3 price was spotted on HP’s official website before it was taken down, this suggests that perhaps the company is not yet ready to release this handset in the country.

The $800 price tag is quite a lot, more than what most flagship smartphones cost, but HP feels that this productivity powerhouse with its high-end features is right to claim this price.

HP Elite x3 has a 6 inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood hooked up to 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage with microSD support, 16 megapixel rear camera, fingerprint sensor, and a massive 4,150mAh battery. All of this is packaged inside a body that’s IP67 water and dust resistant.

HP describes it as a built-for-business mobile device that delivers seamless phablet, laptop, and desktop business productivity in a single device. It features Continuum to enable multi-screen transitions between a phone scenario and a desktop scenario.

The company is yet to confirm precisely when this handset will go on sale in the United States.
