At PAX West 2016, Razer has announced an upgraded version of its 12.5 inch Razer Blade Stealth laptop. The company created this laptop with young professionals and students in mind so it combines high-end performance with great features and battery life in an affordable package. The latest version of the Razer Blade Stealth laptop comes with processor, RAM, and battery upgrades.

Razer Blade Stealth’s CNC aluminum shell houses the latest 7th generation Intel Core i7 processor which can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of solid-state storage. Razer says that the new configurations set a new standard for power, design, and durability.

The laptop also features a 12.5 inch Quad HD 2560 x 1440 IGZO touchscreen display. Customers have the option to upgrade to a 4K IGZO touchscreen display as long as they are willing to pay the premium for it.

Blade Stealth also gets a new larger 53.6 watt-hour battery which provides over 15 percent additional capacity when compared to its predecessor. Razer says that this notebook is now capable of lasting up to nine hours on a single charge.

The company has raised the bar with this notebook but it hasn’t raised the price. Like the previous version, the latest Blade Stealth notebook also starts at $999 and can now be purchased from Razer’s website. It will also be available on Amazon and Microsoft Stores later this month.
