Sprint Sees 375% Increase In iPhone 7 & 7 Plus Pre-Orders

iPhone_7_Plus_LineupAs it stands, some of Apple’s naysayers believe that the company has made a mistake by launching the iPhone 7 and keeping the original design that is about 2 years old. They also believe that Apple made a huge mistake by removing the headphone jack, but according to recent reports, it seems to suggest otherwise.

In an announcement by Sprint, it would seem that they are seeing much higher iPhone 7 and 7 Plus pre-orders than last year. The carrier is boasting that the number of pre-orders for Apple’s new phones are up 375% within the first 3 days compared to last year, which coincidentally enough is pretty much what T-Mobile is claiming as well.

According to Sprint’s CEO Marcelo Claure, “It’s clear that Sprint customers want to get the most out of the incredible iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and know there’s no better place for this than Sprint. No other carrier can match the value Sprint offers iPhone customers. With Unlimited Freedom and also 50% Off, as well as innovative programs such as iPhone Forever, we can meet any customer’s needs.”

Earlier this year, Apple for the first time ever reported a drop in iPhone sales. We guess you could attribute it to the market having hit maturity, although some had hoped that this year’s iPhone would sport a brand new design and revitalize those sales, and while the redesigned iPhone is rumored for 2017, it does sound like the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are holding up pretty well.
