Nintendo’s NES Classic Edition mini-console has been doing very well for itself in the market ever since it arrived a few weeks ago. The mini-console actually sold out immediately after it was released and Nintendo has been working hard to provide additional inventory of the product throughout the holiday season. Amazon Prime Now members in five additional cities can now purchase the mini-console directly from Amazon, they will receive free two-hour shipping for the product as part of their membership.

Amazon confirmed through a tweet sent out from its official Twitter account that the NES Classic Edition can be purchased by Amazon Prime Members today in select cities which include New York, Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.

Amazon Prime Now members in these cities have to visit the Prime Now website and punch in their zip to confirm that they live in an area where this service is available. They can then proceed to purchase the NES Classic Edition for $59.99. Amazon is promising delivery in two hours of less for free.

Nintendo will continue to work with conventional retailers as well to provide more inventory of the NES Classic Edition. Best Buy is going to have more units in stock starting December 20th so if you’re not an Amazon Prime Now member in one of the markets listed above, you can try your luck with Best Buy in a few days from now.
