Samsung Galaxy S8 Possibly Revealed In Samsung’s Own Ads

Leaks can come from all sorts of places. It can come from disgruntled employees, hackers, data mining, retailers, or sometimes it might even come from the company themselves without knowing it. Recently Samsung Display put out two ads for its AMOLED display technology which some think might have revealed the upcoming Galaxy S8 in the process.

In the videos, it shows off Samsung’s AMOLED display technology which presumably will find its way into the Galaxy S8. The displays are shown as normal displays, but at the end of the ad, the display panels morph into a Samsung smartphone with thin bezels around its sides as well as a lack of a home button at the bottom.

If you’re wondering why it looks familiar, it is because last week a render surfaced which showed off the alleged Galaxy S8, and it looks pretty much like the phone in Samsung’s videos. Of course it is a pretty generic design so it’s hard to say if these phones are just a placeholder or if it was an accidental reveal.

Given that both ads are still up on Samsung’s YouTube page, there’s a good chance that it might not be the real deal. Alternatively maybe by taking them down Samsung thinks they are indirectly acknowledging it, but either way what do you guys think? Is that our first look at the Galaxy S8, or is it just wishful thinking?
