LG G6 Will Feature A ‘High-Quality Wide-Angle Camera’

LG has gradually been teasing its next flagship smartphone, the LG G6, and if it keeps going at this rate it’s probably going to end up announcing everything about the device well before the announcement event itself. Be that as it may, LG today decided to confirm that the G6 is going to feature a “high-quality wide-angled camera.”

LG G6 is going to feature a dual-camera setup on the back with the main camera being able to shoot 13 megapixel images in 18:9 format and both cameras will provide a 126 degree angle of view.

It’s going to be a similar story with the front camera that’s going to have the ability to shoot with a 100 degree angle of view. The handset will also come with several selfie filters baked in and users will be able to create a GIF directly from the gallery by manually selecting images.

None of this explains how the cameras are going to perform in the real world so for that we have to wait until LG unveils the G6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 later this month and we get the device in our hands. Only then will it become evident just how better the G6’s camera is compared to its competition.
