Fossil Q Venture And Q Explorist Smartwatches Announced

We’ve already seen many Android Wear smartwatches from brands owned by the Fossil at Baselworld 2017 this year and now the company itself has launched two new wearable devices, the Q Venture and Q Explorist. Fossil describes them as its “slimmest, most feature-packed touchscreen smartwatches to date.”

Fossil and its brands are going to launch quite a few Android Wear smartwatches this year. The company previously confirmed that it’s going to launch more than 300 connected watch options across 14 brands in 2017.

The details are slim right now and that has been the case with most smartwatches unveiled at the Baselworld 2017 event this week, however, both smartwatches presumably run Android Wear 2.0 and have a digital crown which will make navigation quite easy.

We should have more information about these smartwatches in the coming months. However, you can notice that the promotional image for these smartwatches features a black watchface. It may have been used to hide the “flat tire” display that’s a common occurrence on circular smartwatches that don’t have a fully round display.

Fossil is going to release the Q Venture and Q Explorist smartwatches later this year in the fall with prices starting from $255 and $275 respectively. Information about the specifications and features should arrive in the coming months.
