If you liked the augmented reality face filters that Snapchat offers then you’ll be glad to see them on Instagram too. The Facebook-owned photo-sharing service today announced that it has added face filters and more to its apps.

Starting today, eight different filters will be available on Instagram which will work regardless of whether the front or back camera is being used to capture the photo or video. Users just need to tap on a filter to try it out, they even work with multiple people in the frame so your friends can join in on the fun.

The finished post can be shared with any contact through Instagram Direct to added to the story. Instagram is also rolling out more creative tools in the camera today. The Rewind feature allows users to make videos that play in reverse. It’s placed next to the Boomerang and Hands-Free camera features.

More context can also be added to an Instagram Story starting today with hashtag stickers. Tapping on the sticker icon at the top right of the screen lets you screen, select, and customize hashtags. When using drawing tools, users will now see a new eraser brush with which they can erase things that they’ve drawn. It can even be used for removing color.

All of this is included in today’s Instagram update which is now available for both iOS and Android.
