Activision has previously teased the Call of Duty: WW2 zombie mode by saying that it’s going to be a “twisted new version” of the popular mode. It didn’t reveal much at that point in time so there has been a lot of anticipation among fans for this. Their wait ends today, though, as Activision has finally released the Call of Duty: WW2 Zombie Mode trailer.

Officially titled Call of Duty 2: WW2 Nazi Zombies, the gameplay mode has its own separate narrative arc which is a part of the co-op survival mode. Players will be taking on zombies in a bid to recover stolen works of art from a Bavarian village.

It was confirmed a couple of months back that the zombies mode will be properly unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 20th. Activision has kept its word and released an official trailer for Call of Duty: WW2 Nazi Zombies mode.

“This village holds a shadowy secret key to an unimaginable and monstrous power. Nothing is as it seems in this zombies horror, as a dark and sinister plot unfolds to unleash an invincible Nazi army of the dead,” reads Activision’s official description for the zombies mode.

Call of Duty: WW2 is due for release on November 3rd. It’s available for pre-order now for $59.99.
