Rocket League Crossplay Party Support Will Arrive This Year

Rocket League fans have something to look forward to this year. It has been confirmed via the game’s official support account on Twitter that the Rocket League crossplay party support is going to be released in 2018. This is something that many players have been looking forward to. The crossplay party support will enable them to invite their friends to play on the same team regardless of the platform they’re on.

Rocket League was released back in 2015 and it has grown to be a global phenomenon. It boasts one of the largest and most frequent of player bases of any game. Developer Psyonix confirmed earlier this month that the game has crossed 40 million players globally across all platforms since launch.

A Twitter user recently reached out to the official Rocket League support account and asked if the developer is working on the crossplay party support. The reply will make fans of this game happy. The developer confirms that its “actively working” on cross-platform party support and it’s aiming to release the functionality later this year.

Psyonix has talked about this functionality multiple times in the past and this is the first that it has mentioned anything about a release window. Hopefully, it will provide more information about it in the coming months so that fans can finally mark their calendars for something they have long been waiting for.
