LG G7 ThinQ Will Feature Speakers 10x Louder Than Regular Smartphones

So come 2nd of May, LG is expected to unveil their brand new smartphone, the LG G7 ThinQ. However leading up to the announcement, it appears that LG has been steadily teasing details about the handset. Recently the company had boasted that the display on the phone will feature a 1000 NIT brightness, but that’s not all.

The company has since come forward with yet another detail about the LG G7 ThinQ, which is the rumored Boombox Speaker. Earlier rumors had suggested that the LG G7 ThinQ could feature a Boombox Speaker feature, but now that has been pretty much confirmed by LG themselves who claim that the speakers on the upcoming handset will be able to reach volume levels of 6dB.

LG also claims that users will be able to crank up the volume on the handset where it will apparently be 10x louder than regular smartphones, but whether or not this is true remains to be seen as we’ll probably need to test it out for ourselves. Another interesting feature is that LG claims that if you were to put the phone on an aluminum surface, it will help amplify the bass effects.

LG is also boasting DTS:X 3D Surround Sound that will give the illusion of 3D sound while you’ve got headphones plugged in. It sounds like a rather promising and interesting feature, especially for those who watch a lot of videos on their phones, but either way check back with us on the 2nd of May for the details.
