lg g7The LG G7 was released earlier this year, although unlike some other 2018 smartphones, it has yet to receive its Android 9.0 Pie update. However the good news is that LG G7 owners might not have to wait much longer because according to LG Korea (via GSMArena), it seems that the handset is set to receive its Android Pie update in the first quarter of 2019.
Bootloops are a nasty piece of business where it basically results in your phone rebooting endlessly and never letting you get past the boot screen, essentially rendering the handset unusable. Unfortunately for some LG G7 users, it seems that they are reporting that their phones are now facing bootloop problems.
Earlier this year, LG launched one of its flagship smartphones the LG G7 ThinQ. As expected of flagship phones, the LG G7 wasn’t exactly considered cheap (still cheaper than some other companies though), and at IFA 2018, LG announced a more affordable version with stripped down specs in the form of the LG G7 Fit.
