It has not even been a couple of months since Sony unveiled the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona back in February. If you liked what you saw and wanted to pick one up then you will be delighted to find out that Sony’s latest smartphones will soon be available for purchase from Amazon and Best Buy in the United States. Many Sony fans will likely be interested in these handsets given that they come with some substantial design changes that were missing from previous iterations.

Some of the design changes that Sony has made include a curved glass back for the XZ2 and slimmer bezels on both models. They also adopt the 18:9 aspect ratio for the display which is a big trend this year as well as a rear fingerprint sensor.

Sony’s new handsets are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor which will be used in many Android flagships this year. They also feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. While the Compact has a 5 inch Full HD display, the Xperia XZ2 has a 5.7 inch display of the same 1080p resolution.

Customers who are interested in picking one up can pre-order the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact from Best Buy starting April 13th through April 19th for $799 and $649 respectively. They will be launched on April 20th and will be available from Best Buy locations come May 6th. Amazon gets them on May 20th.
