Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is the next addition to this popular franchise. While the title was confirmed several weeks ago it’s yet to be officially unveiled. Activision is going to confirm all of the details about this title officially later this month but it has been dropping some hints about what players can expect. The publisher has revealed that PC gamers can expect a better experience on this preferred platform with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Call of Duty developers haven’t really catered to PC gamers in the past and that’s a complaint that they have expressed many times before. It appears, though, that they might finally make amends with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Activision Blizzard president and chief operating officer Coddy Johnson has teased that the title is going to “push the envelope with innovation” and that gamers will witness that in the game and also on “growth platforms like PC where we have invested significant dedicated resources to ensure we can deliver a great PC game to that community.”

PC gamers will be anxious to see if Call of Duty is going to properly get rid of the console-first vibe it has been giving off in recent years. They feel that it’s about time that their platform got the attention it deserves and Activision’s comments so far suggest that it’s going to oblige PC gamers this time around.

Activision is due to officially launch Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on May 17th.
