While Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm was kind of late to the MOBA genre, Blizzard does have an advantage over existing MOBAs and that is the game uses already-established characters from Blizzard’s various franchises. This means that players getting into the game will be met with playable characters that they already know.

For the most part the game consists of key characters in various Blizzard games, such as Jim Raynor and Sarah Kerrigan from StarCraft, Thrall and Arthas from Warcraft, Diablo, and so on. Now if you’re a fan and player of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft, then you might be interested to learn that the next hero coming to the game will be none other than High Inquisitor Whitemane.

This was revealed by the Heroes of the Storm account which teased the upcoming hero. Blizzard did not dive into any details yet but we expect more will be shared at a later date. However given the character’s backstory and fighting style, we expect that she will be a magic-user and potentially a support hero.

For those who are unfamiliar with Whitemane, she is/was one of the bosses of the Scarlet Monastery dungeon in World of Warcraft. She was later “upgraded” and became one of the Four Horsemen in Acherus: The Ebon Hold.
