#IFA18 – A trend that we’re seeing these days is how companies are launching laptops that have the ability to convert into tablets, or a device with a full touchscreen display without the keyboard that gets in the way. There is obviously demand for such devices as companies keep trotting them out, and if you’re in the market for something similar, ASUS has a couple of new ZenBook Flips that you could be interested in.

The company has debuted two brand new models at IFA 2018 in the form of the ZenBook Flip 13 and 15, which as their names already imply will come in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch display options. Both will offer up similar Full HD 1920×1080 resolutions, but the 15.6-inch model can be configured to support up to 4K, although you’ll probably have to pay more for that option.

Under the hood, both models will also pack the same Intel Core i5 or i7 configuration options, and can also support up to 16GB of RAM. There are also PCIe SSD storage options or regular HDD options, and also Harman Kardon certified audio with ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio systems.

As their Flip branding also implies, these laptops have been designed to be used either as a regular laptop, or the screen can also be flipped completely around so that they can be propped up to watch videos on, to make presentations, without the keyboard getting in the way. According to ASUS, the laptops have been tested with 20,000 open/close cycles, so you don’t have to worry about the hinges failing on you anytime soon. Unfortunately pricing and availability has yet to be disclosed.
