Fortnite For Android Gameplay Leaked

Fortnite Battle Royale is expected to launch for Android this summer, although unfortunately for Android gamers, we have been hearing rumors that the game could be exclusive to Samsung devices. Whether or not that is true remains to be seen, but in the meantime it looks like we might have an idea of how the game will play.

This is thanks to a video uploaded by XDA which shows off the game running on a Samsung Galaxy S9+. Now for the most part the gameplay is exactly the same as the iOS version of Fortnite, but in terms of performance, this is where things might vary from phone to phone. This is because the phone used is the Galaxy S9+ which is one of the more powerful smartphones of 2018.

It is also running on the “Epic” graphics quality, and the Samsung Game Tuner feature is used which enhances both its resolution and performance. This means that what you see now might not necessarily reflect your experience if you’re using a different phone, although we expect that if you were to get the upcoming Galaxy Note 9, it should be more or less the same.

Fortnite is expected to be announced alongside the Note 9 which should be tomorrow, so check back with us then for the details. In the meantime Fortnite for Android is also expected to bypass the Google Play Store where it could released either directly via Epic’s website, or through Samsung (or possibly both).
