#IFA 18 – When it comes to laptops, portability is key which is why many laptop makers try to make their laptops as light as possible. There are some, such as gamers, who probably don’t mind heavy rigs, but in case your job requires you to lug a laptop around all day, you will definitely feel all that extra weight at the end of the day.

So if weight is of importance to you, then you might be interested to learn that at IFA 2018, Lenovo has launched its Yoga S730 laptop, where one of the key features of the laptop is that it weighs only 2.6lbs (around 1.2kg), making it one of the lighter laptops available in this category today. It also measures 11mm thin, meaning that slipping it into a backpack or briefcase shouldn’t be an issue.

In terms of specs, Lenovo is offering the laptop in a couple of configurations, where users can choose between an Intel Core i5-8265U processor, or the slightly more powerful Intel Core i7-8565U. The laptop will run Windows 10 Home and will support up to 16GB of RAM (DDR4) , a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display (no touchscreen), and PCIe SSD storage ranging from 128GB up to a whopping 1TB SSD.

There will also be an Intel HD 620 GPU so for those hoping for a discrete GPU solution, you might have to look elsewhere. The laptop has also been rated for 10 hours of battery life and will also feature Dolby Atmos audio technology. Unfortunately Lenovo did not mention how much the laptop will cost, or when it is expected to launch.
