Tesla Launches A Wireless Charger For Your Smartphone

Tesla is a company known for their electric cars, but it seems that the company is starting to branch out their offerings because the company has recently unveiled the Tesla Wireless Charger. No, this is not a wireless charger for your car, but it is instead a wireless charger designed for smartphones.

According to Tesla’s description of the device, “The Tesla Wireless Charger is a 6000mAh (22.2Wh) battery-powered inductive charging pad that features the same design language used in our energy products, like Powerwall. In addition to wirelessly charging your device, you can also power up your phone with the integrated USB-C cable. For non USB-C devices, use the USB-A port to plug in any USB-A charging cable. The built-in USB-A cable can be used to charge your Wireless Charger from any USB port.”

As the description notes, this charger also packs a 6,000mAh battery which means that you could use it as a power bank to bring with you on the go. In terms of price, Tesla is asking $65 for it which is admittedly not too bad of a price. This is not the first time that Tesla has launched a “lifestyle” product. Previously the company also sold a limited edition surfboard., and also a regular power bank which is still available for purchase for $45.
