Divacore’s Nomad & Nomad+ Wireless Headphones Announced

#IFA18 – When it comes to wireless headphones, you have some that are still wired in which earpiece is connected to each other via a wire. Then you get those that are “truly” wireless in which each earpiece exists on its own, like the AirPods, or more recently at IFA we have seen similar solutions launched by Sennheiser and Audio Technica.

Now it looks like French company Divacore also wants in the truly wireless action by launching two sets of earbuds at IFA 2018 in the form of the Nomad and Nomad+. Note that these aren’t the company’s first wireless earbuds. They had previously launched the AntiPods, but the Nomad and Nomad+ are supposed to build further on that.

In terms of specs, both the Nomad and Nomad+ are more or less the same, but the Nomad+ does come with additional features. This includes a 5,000mAh power bank case that lets users either extend the life of their earphones, or potentially even charge their smartphones as well. However apart from that, like we said both earphones are essentially the same.

There will also be features like the Outdoor Sports mode which basically lets users take in sound from the outside. This essentially takes away sound isolation which while great for better quality music listening, can be dangerous if you’re exercising outside and want to be able to hear cars and other people around you. In terms of pricing, the Nomad will retail for €99, while the Nomad+ will go for €119 and will be available in September.
