Shadow of the Tomb Raider joins the list of countless games that have received additional downloadable content after launch. It has now been confirmed when the first DLC for this title is going to be released. There will be seven expansion quests for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Square Enix has announced when the first of seven titled The Forge is going to be released.

The Forge is going to be released on November 13th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It has previously been confirmed that the first DLC will bring a bit of co-op gameplay for the title which will be different than the co-op endurance mode which arrives with one of the expansions for 2015’s Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Square Enix hasn’t provided any details about how the co-op gameplay will work in The Forge so players will certainly be looking forward for it to arrive so that they can see all that it brings to the table. The main theme of the DLC is obviously focused on a new tomb that Lara will be raiding with additional narrative details.

It’s unclear how much the DLC is going to cost on its own but that’s not something that those who bought the $30 season pass will have to worry about.
