Stardew Valley Is Now Available On iOS Devices For $7.99

Earlier this month the folks at Chucklefish announced that Stardew Valley would be launching on mobile devices later this month. For those who wouldn’t mind getting their hands on the mobile version of the game, you’ll be pleased to learn that the game is now available for download where it will be priced at $7.99.

Note that the game is only available for iOS devices right now, although we imagine that it should eventually find its way onto Android. Despite this being a mobile title and being cheaper than the PC and console version of the game, its creator Eric Barone claims that this will be a full version of the game, not some modified version of the game for mobile.

This means that what you’ve come to love and expect from the PC/console version of the game has been brought over onto mobile, where the main changes are to the UI and controls of the game where it has been optimized for touch. Other than that it will be pretty much the same, and no, there won’t be any in-game purchases for those who might be worried.

For PC gamers who might have spent hours on the game, you will be able to transfer your progress over to mobile. Unfortunately this is limited to PC gamers and those who play the game on their consoles will have no choice but to start all over again. It is unclear if multiplayer support will come to the mobile version of the game, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
