For the longest time ever, Stardew Valley was largely a single-player game. This doesn’t mean that updates and new content wasn’t important, it’s just that for the most part it was mostly self-contained and players were pretty happy with what was available in the game. However the good news is that the game’s developer, ConcernedApe, has announced that he will be working on more Stardew Valley content moving forwards.
For the longest time, Stardew Valley existed as a single-player game where gamers went about growing their farm, interacting with the villagers, and starting a family. However last year it was revealed that the game would be getting a multiplayer update, and last week it was announced that the version of the Switch would be coming soon.
Earlier this month the folks at Chucklefish announced that Stardew Valley would be launching on mobile devices later this month. For those who wouldn’t mind getting their hands on the mobile version of the game, you’ll be pleased to learn that the game is now available for download where it will be priced at $7.99.
Stardew Valley is essentially a digital game, but for those who really love the game and wouldn’t mind getting their hands on a physical copy of the game, Japanese publisher Oizumi Amuzio has announced that they will releasing a physical Collector’s Edition version of the game that will come bundled with certain goodies.
Stardew Valley despite having launch a few years ago continues to be a very popular indie title. For those unfamiliar, the game is a cute farming sim that uses pixel art to help achieve that cute aesthetic. The game was first launched on the PC, but it eventually found its way onto consoles, and now it looks like it will be arriving on mobile devices as well.
For a while now we have been hearing that multiplayer will be a feature that will soon be coming to Stardew Valley. The multiplayer feature is currently in testing and the good news is that if this is an update you’ve been looking forward to, you’ll be pleased to learn that you won’t have to wait much longer for it.
