Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Pre-Orders Open In U.S. Sans LTE

Xiaomi recently launched a sub-brand and its first device is perhaps the cheapest smartphone on the market with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. That’s the same processor that you’ll find in flagships like the Galaxy Note 9. It’s now available for pre-order in the United States. Interested customers should keep in mind that the device won’t support LTE in the U.S.

The 6GB RAM and 64GB variant of the Pocophone F1 is now available for pre-order from B&H Photo Video. It’s priced at $370. Again, this is a device that comes with the Snapdragon 845. The other specs are impressive at this price point as well.

It has a 6.18 inch 1080×2246 pixel resolution LCD display. There’s a 12 megapixel + 5 megapixel dual camera at the back in addition to the 20 megapixel front camera. It’s powered by Android 8.1 Oreo and has a chunky 4,000mAh battery.

This particular version that’s available for pre-order in the U.S. now is not compatible with CDMA networks so Verizon and Sprint are out. Moreover, it doesn’t have the LTE bands that will allow it to work on T-Mobile and AT&T’s LTE networks.

It only supports 1900MHz frequency for 3G so those who can live with that can now go ahead and pre-order this device. Customers can opt for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant as well which is priced at $400.
