If you are looking for a powerful and affordable smartphone, you might want to check out the upcoming Poco F5. This device has been spotted on Geekbench with some impressive specs, including a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor and 12 GB of RAM. The Poco F5, which according to the MySmartPrice website gained the TDRA certification recently being listed with model number 23049PCD8G, will be the first phone in India to feature this new chipset, which promises to deliver 50% higher overall performance, 13% improved power efficiency, and 2x improved AI performance, compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

The Poco F5 has managed to score 1629 and 4295 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively and is likely to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo (which is currently available only in China). This means that we can expect some other features like a FHD+ 6.67-inch AMOLED display, 120 Hz of refresh rate, up to 256 GB of internal storage (a 128 GB should also be offered at a more affordable price), a 64 MP main camera, 8MP secondary lens, 2 MP sensor, 16 MP selfie camera, a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging, and MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will arrive in markets outside China as the Poco F5

The Poco F-series is known for offering flagship-level performance at mid-range prices, and the new Poco smartphone seems to continue this tradition, as it will offer a better battery life and performance than its predecessor, the Poco F4, which had a Snapdragon 870 chipset. The Poco F5 is expected to launch soon in India, so stay tuned for more updates.
