Apple Music Beta For Android Supports Tablets

If you’re subscribed to Apple Music and you’re using iOS devices like an iPhone and an iPad, then you know that Apple Music works across either device. However for those on Android, it is a different story, but for Android users who are subscribed to Apple Music, you might be interested to learn that the latest beta for the app now supports tablets.

To be fair, Android is usually seen as more of an operating system designed for phones, and given that Android tablets aren’t nearly as popular compared to iPads, it’s not surprising that many developers would choose to spend their time and resources working on smartphone apps instead of developing apps for tablets as well.

This usually results in Android apps running on tablets not taking advantage of all that added screen real estate (think iPhone apps running on iPads). However like we said, the latest beta for Apple Music on Android does seem to come with an updated UI that takes advantage of larger displays, so if you do have an Android tablet and felt that this was a feature that was missing, then know that you can probably look forward to the next update.

There is no word on when the update is expected to be released, but given that it is now in beta we imagine that barring any big issues, it probably won’t be too far off into the future.
