Walmart Allows Customers To Order And Pay For Online Orders In-Store

Ahead of the upcoming holiday season, Walmart is making it much easier for customers to shop from its online store. It will allow in-store shoppers to order and pay for their online orders in its retail locations. This will help customers complete their purchases even if what they’re looking for isn’t available in the store. It will also enable those without access to payment methods for online purchases to shop from Walmart’s website.

The retail giant has launched an in-store app for this purpose which enables store associates to access products listed on Walmart.com quickly. There’s no restriction on payment methods for this. Customers can choose to pay with credit card, Walmart Pay, cash or even with a check.

This makes it easier for everyone to shop from Walmart’s online store even if they don’t have the means to make payments online. The way this works is that customers approach a store associate if what they’re looking for isn’t available at the retail location.

The associate will help the customer select their item on their in-store device. Customers can then opt to have the product shipped to their home or the store for free. They can get a receipt or email to use for paying at the store. The shipping process for their product begins as soon as they check out.
