Bruce Campbell, best known for his portrayal of Ash Williams in the Evil Dead franchise, has revealed some information about the new Evil Dead game. There have been reports recently that a new game based on the popular Evil Dead franchise is being developed.

Campbell himself has said that the game is in the pipeline but also pointed out that it’s “not VR,” meaning that there won’t be a virtual reality component to the game even though one can argue that it would have made sense for this franchise. Campbell didn’t provide any further information about the game so it’s not even known at this point in time just what this game is going to be called.

There have been more than a few reports about it being a VR experience but Campbell has now set the record straight. He took to Twitter to confirm that the upcoming Evil Dead game is being developed for consoles and PC, not VR.

Fans would have certainly been happy if he had provided more details about the title but it seems that they are going to have to wait for that. As for when this new Evil Dead game is going to arrive, Campbell has previously said that the title is going to arrive within the next year.
