It was just last month that DJI unveiled the Ronin SC, a gimbal designed for mirrorless cameras. However, if you’re interested in a gimbal designed for your smartphone, then you might be pleased to learn that DJI has since taken the wraps off their latest mobile gimbal in the form of the DJI Osmo Mobile 3.

This marks the third gimbal in DJI’s mobile gimbal lineup and it seems to have addressed some of the issues that some users had with the Osmo Mobile 2. For starters, the Osmo Mobile 3 is foldable which makes it a breeze to take it with you and pack, compared to the Osmo Mobile 2 which some felt was a bit hard to pack with.

It also brings some features from the original Osmo Mobile, such as the trigger button that lets users change orientation and modes with a click of the trigger. There are also new features introduced to the accompanying DJI Mimo app, such as Story Mode that helps beginner videographers put together stories quickly and easily through a guided system.

Apart from that, the Osmo Mobile 3 will be more or less the same as the Osmo Mobile 2, which includes its 15 hour battery life. In terms of pricing, the Osmo Mobile 3 is priced at $119 for the standard version, and $139 for the bundle that also comes with a tripod and carrying case. You’ll be able to pick one up for yourself via DJI’s website.
