Apple Could Launch Four iPhones In 2020

For the past few years, Apple has launched three iPhones on an annual basis. However, come 2020, Apple is expected to launch as many as four iPhone units. This is according to JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee who claims that for Apple’s fall update cycle, the company could launch as many as four new models.

The analyst has predicted that there will be three new iPhone sizes available, where one model will be a 5.4-inch model, two 6.1-inch iPhones, and one 6.7-inch model. This is partly in line with an earlier rumor where it was suggested that Apple could actually planning a slightly larger and slightly smaller iPhone, so this pretty much corroborates it.

However, the prediction of two 6.1-inch iPhones does seem a bit different from the previous rumors which claimed that Apple could be sticking to three models instead of four. Chatterjee goes on to claim that the entire 2020 iPhone lineup could come with OLED displays and that 5G would also be offered.

This is also in line with an earlier report where Qualcomm themselves might have hinted at a 5G iPhone. Needless to say that this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us later where hopefully there will be additional details available.
