Projectors are great alternatives to TVs because it means that you don’t necessarily need to adorn your wall with a TV that’s just a black, empty box when not in use. Some projectors also have the added advantage of being portable, allowing you to broadcast photos and videos when you’re outdoors.

If you’re looking for a projector just like that, then you might be interested to learn that ASUS has since unveiled the ZenBeam Latte, which as the name suggests, is a portable projector that’s about the size of a coffee cup. This means that it is highly portable, chuck it into your bag and you’re good to go.

The projector also has the added advantage of having built-in speakers, thanks to Harman Kardon where it will be able to put out 10W of power.

ASUS claims that the projector has 300 LED lumens brightness, and will be capable of projecting screen sizes from as small as 40-inches to as large as 120-inches. The built-in battery is also said to be good for 3 hours of movie watching, and up to 12 hours for audio.

There is currently no word on pricing, but ASUS is planning on bringing this to North American markets in the second quarter of the year, so keep an eye out for it if this sounds like something you might be interested in.
