iPad Mini Shipping Times Are Now Slipping Into November

After years of what felt a lot like neglect, Apple finally gave its iPad mini its much-deserved refresh. Not only did it get a new design, but it also got some features that essentially made the tablet feel like a miniaturized version of the iPad Pro, but at the same time being a lot more affordable.

The iPad mini form factor is actually kind of perfect as it is big enough to enjoy books and websites, but not so big that it’s difficult to bring around, so it’s no surprise that it seems like a hit amongst customers. According to the latest shipping estimates, it seems that the iPad mini’s shipping times have slipped to November in some configurations.

Other configurations are seeing slightly less delayed shipping times at around mid-October, so depending on your choice of color, storage size, and WiFi or cellular options, you could end up waiting a while for it. This represents about a four week delay from the original date of the 24th of September.

Alternatively, you could also always try your luck to get the tablet in the shop when it is officially released. The new iPad mini is priced starting at $499 and will come with support for 5G connectivity and also support for the second-gen Apple Pencil.
