One of the features of Apple’s iPad Pro is the Apple Pencil that lets users draw and write on it almost like a piece of paper. The issue, however, would be the glossy display that doesn’t quite feel like paper, so iPad Pro users had to resort to third-party screen protectors to get that paper feel.

However, it seems that TCL has solved that issue. Announced alongside their brand new smartphones, the company has unveiled their new NXTPAPER MAX 10 tablet. While on the surface it looks like a regular tablet, the company has actually opted to use its NXTVISION display that gives the tablet a more matte and paper-like screen that could be perfect for artists or people who want to handwrite notes on their tablet.

The display measures 10.36-inches and under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Komanio 500 chipset and is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage via microSD. The tablet also comes with a decently-sized 8,000mAh battery.

As for its cameras, for those who actually take photos using their tablet, the NXTPAPER MAX 10 comes with an 8MP front-facing camera capable of 1080p video at 30fps, and on the back there is a 13MP camera that offers up similar video capabilities. The tablet is expected to be available come Q2 2022 where it will be priced around €270.
