Recently we heard that according to the rumors, Nothing could be working on their own smartphone and that it could launch next month. It turns out that maybe we won’t have to wait that long because Nothing has since announced that they will be hosting an event on the 23rd of March.

We don’t know what will be announced, but seeing as we’re hot on the heels of the rumors of a new smartphone, there is a good chance that this event could see the company officially announce their first mobile device. Also, seeing that there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon logo on the landing page of the website lends support to the speculation that a phone launch is imminent.

Not much is known about the Nothing phone at the moment. We did come across a blurry photo of Nothing’s founder Carl Pei at MWC holding a mobile device, which many have speculated is a prototype of the handset, but once again, apart from that we have no clue what the phone looks like or what kind of hardware it’s packing and what features we can look forward to.

There’s nothing to confirm that the 23rd of March event will be about the phone, but either way, check back with us in the coming weeks if you’re interested in seeing and hearing what the company has to say.
