At CES 2026, TCL unveiled the NXTPAPER 70 Pro smartphone, extending its NXTPAPER range and reaffirming its emphasis on eye-comfort display technology. The Android gadget, which is based on the fourth generation of NXTPAPER innovation, presents NXTPAPER 4.0. It has a dedicated NXTPAPER Key that enables users to quickly switch between various display modes for various use cases.
You can switch between Color Paper Mode, Ink Paper Mode, and Max Ink Mode with ease thanks to the NXTPAPER Key. Up to seven days of reading time and up to 26 days of standby are provided by Max Ink Mode, which turns the screen into a monochrome, paper-like interface intended for concentrated reading and prolonged endurance.
In addition to AI-powered tools like AI Outline, AI Q&A, AI Audiobook, and AI Podcast, this mode comes with pre-installed reading material. At any moment, users can switch back to full-color mode for browsing and multimedia.

Seven essential eye-care technologies are included in the TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro, which is certified by TÜV and SGS and is made for comfortable viewing throughout the day. They include blue light purification, dim-light eye protection, circadian screen comfort, blue light reduction, natural light display, zero flicker via DC dimming, and TruePaper Restoration.
To ensure readability in bright outdoor settings, the display employs nano-matrix lithography to reduce reflections. In contrast to circular polarized light, which produces accurate colors with less eye strain, harmful blue light is reduced to as low as 3.41%.
The gadget has a 32MP front camera and a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization for photography. Motion capture, artistic effects, including film-style filters, and low-light performance are all improved by TCL’s MuseFilm imaging technology. With Google Gemini integration, AI features facilitate content creation, translation, transcription, and intelligent search.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor powers the NXTPAPER 70 Pro, which also has a 5200mAh battery with 33W fast charging, IP68 water and dust resistance, up to 24GB RAM with expansion, and up to 512GB storage. Pricing starts at €339 (~$396), and it will be available in several global locations starting in February.
