Newjak (CEO Haehyun Jung) announced that it will participate in ‘AWE USA 2025’ from June 10 to 12 in Long Beach, California, as part of the Pavilion Seoul XR.
Newjak is a content company specializing in converging new technologies. Founded with the mission of constantly creating new media, the company offers immersive content that delivers new experiences and overcomes technological limitations in the immersive content sector.
Newjak has developed proprietary XR (Extended Reality) technology that provides immersive experiences without the need for HMDs (head-mounted displays), enhancing both user convenience and engagement. Leveraging this technology, the company is expanding differentiated XR and metaverse services across sports, defense simulation, exhibitions, and education.
At the upcoming exhibition, Newjak will introduce ‘X-RUNNER’, an XR experience platform. ‘X-RUNNER’ utilizes headset-free XR technology to overcome the constraints of heavy equipment and spatial limitations. It enables users to move freely and interact in real time within virtual environments without wearing headsets. This allows for new interactive experiences that encourage physical activity, communication, collaboration, and social bonding.
Newjak’s ‘X-RUNNER’ won two Innovation Awards at CES 2025 in the Metaverse and Content & Entertainment categories, earning recognition for its technology and innovation. The company has registered three domestic patents and filed two international PCT applications, confirming demand and expansion potential in both domestic and overseas markets.
Starting in the second half of 2024, Newjak has begun commercialization and product delivery in Korea, focusing on multi-purpose cultural spaces (department stores, B2B) and educational institutions (schools, B2G). The company is also successfully partnering with major retailers and expanding abroad. In addition to the CES 2025 awards, ‘X-RUNNER’ was selected as a finalist in the ‘Best Interaction Product’ category at the Auggie Awards, the official awards program of AWE USA, demonstrating its strong market potential in the U.S.
Looking ahead, Newjak plans to strengthen its domestic presence through consistent networking with potential clients and aims to establish the first franchise location for ‘X-RUNNER’ under a B2C strategy. Internationally, it intends to continue expanding its global footprint through ongoing exhibition participation and strategic market entry.
